I have allergies. I should own stock in tissue manufacturers because I use so many tissues each day/week/year! Allergy attack, no grabbing for tissue: it's snatch it from its cardboard box ASAP. When the tissue level runs very low in the box, the box typically goes flying across the room. Hate that. When searching for a sturdy tissue box cover, all I wanted was a reasonably attractive and one that would keep the original cardboard box from flying over my head and across the room when I grab for its last tissue. This acacia wood cover does the job!It is a very simple design, made entirely of acacia wood. The box is substantial enough, weight-wise to house and keep the tissues in place all the way to the very last tissue in the box. I purchased the standard (not cube) sized box cover. My new cover easily accommodates the standard tissue box that typically holds about 160 tissues.Easy access. Slide the base of the acacia cover open, drop in the cardboard tissue box can and slide the base close. The closure is secure enough that the cover won't accidentally fall off.My new tissue cover passes my tissue snatch test -- no flying box when tissue level gets low!The cover is very nicely crafted -- no sloppy seams, rough edges, or careless staining/finish.I am so very pleased with my new tissue box cover.
